Jones Hargreaves were instructed as Project Managers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Sustainability Consultants for the delivery of a 122,000sqft office building refurbishment in the heart of the City of London.

99 QVS is an exemplar refurbished office to the highest standards of quality and sustainability. The £30m development incorporates a new roof level terrace, Sky Lounge and Reception areas, all using sustainable materials and working practices. The building is fully electric and has new mechanical and electrical services, together with photovoltaic cells on the roof to generate power for the installed services.

Jones Hargreaves PM, MEP and sustainability teams worked with our client, Fidelity, through the acquisition and feasibility phase, to detailed design, procurement and delivery of the project. We assembled a team of complimentary experts to design and deliver the project. Our Project Management team incorporated programme management, risk mitigation, advising of complex funding and appointment documentation and chaired and minuted all meetings. Our MEP team designed the mechanical and electrical systems and oversaw the implementation of these on site with the main contractor, Mace Interiors. Our Sustainability team have set the standard for sustainable delivery by assisting the client with the set up of their sustainable fund, setting objectives, advising on green load and lease objectives and are managing the implementation of these strategies, including achieving BREEAM Outstanding, NABERS 5* and EPC A.
