Jones Hargreaves Fire prepares clear, project-specific fire strategies that support safe, compliant and commercially deliverable building design. We work alongside clients, architects, building services engineers, contractors and approval bodies throughout the relevant RIBA stages, helping to identify and resolve fire safety matters before they result in redesign, delay or additional cost.
Our fire strategies consider means of warning and escape, evacuation arrangements, internal and external fire spread, structural fire resistance, active and passive fire protection, smoke control, firefighting access and facilities, and the ongoing management of the completed building. We can support new developments, refurbishments, changes of use and alterations to existing buildings, while documenting key assumptions and design decisions to support regulatory submissions and the building’s fire safety information.
