Simon began his risk management career with the Metropolitan Police Service, working in intelligence and developing a disciplined approach to assessing complex risk. He now leads the development and delivery of Jones Hargreaves Fire Safety Consultancy, providing evidence-led advice across fire risk assessment, retrospective fire strategies, technical due diligence, compartmentation, fire doors, remediation and quality assurance. His experience includes programmes covering more than 3,500 properties and annual fire safety budgets of approximately £3 million.

- Tier 2 IFSM Fire Risk Assessor Register
- Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment
- Currently undertaking Level 5 Fire Engineering Design and Advanced Fire Risk Assessment at RQF Level 6.
