The roof area visible from the front elevation comprises two pitched gable roofs, with two lead covered flat roofs to the rear of these gable roofs. To the front elevation, the lower ground and ground floor comprises a mixture of painted ‘Ashlar’ style render, Portland stone and brickwork in an English bond, with alternate course horizontal Portland stone detailing. Detailing to the front façade includes arched Portland stonework, protruding balcony, a Portland stone parapet and dental courses above the ground and third floor. Windows comprise single glazed, painted timber framed sliding sash units. Rainwater goods comprise cast iron downpipes and hoppers. At ground level, the entrance area comprises two bay windows with timber frames, marble steps and porch flooring, a main entrance timber door, painted metal railings around the bay windows and a staircase down to the lower ground level.
